Broinsonia dentata Bukry, 1969
Aspitolithus signatus Noël, 1969, Invalid according to ICBN Art. 40.3, (it has two holotypes)
Broinsonia's species have an axial cross with lateral bars [only visible in exceptionally well-preserved specimens] and a relatively small central opening. The axial cross is bulkier than other species. The arms of the axial cross have two helves visible at 45° under polarized light. The fluted wide tube cycle is strongly birefringent together with an axial cross whilst the narrow distal shield is dimmer.
