Coccolithus cf. miopelagicus Bukry, 1971b
Large (13.0-14.0µm), elliptical species of Coccolithus Schwarz (1894) have a central opening without any central structure. This morphotype has the highest occurrence in Tortonian but re-appears again in the Pleistocene sediments.
