Helicolith having a Type III (Helicosphaera carteri type) blanket, an expanded flange termination and a non-perforated central area.
Helicosphaera differs from Helicosphaera carteri (Wallich, 1877) Kamptner, (1954) by having non-porous central area whereas the latter has two pores in the central area
