Scyphosphaera hamptonii da Gama & Varol 2013
Cylindrical species of Scyphosphaera Lohmann (1902) having a narrow circular base and a heavily ornamented wall. The wide distal opening has a simple termination.
Scyphosphaera hamptonii differs from Scyphosphaera cylindrica Kamptner (1955) by having a circular base and very prominent longitudinal ribs. The latter has an elliptical base and a larger body.
