Named after the type locality, Culver Cliff, Isle of Wight, England
The optical properties are comparable to those of Miravetesina; however, the segments in the outer cycle exhibit greyish-white interference colours.
Relatively large species (>8.0 µm) of Miravetesina have a broad pelaga surrounding a central area spanned by an indistinct axial cross supporting a distal process.
