Nannotetrina tetrasepta Varol, in prep.
A small species of Nannotetrina, basket-shaped in side view and square in plan view. Sutures extending from the centre to the midpoint of each side divide the nannolith into four approximately square sectors. A narrow, swastika-shaped cross is slightly to moderately offset from the underlying sutures.
From Greek tetra, four and Latin septum, partition, referring to the division of the nannolith into four approximately square sectors.
