Synonyms

Aspidolithus angustus Noël, 1969, is invalid under ICN Art. 9.1 owing to the designation of two holotypes.

Remarks

Relatively small species of Pollicifossa having a large elliptical central area with a non-porous plate [weekly to non-birefringent] surrounded by a wide birefringent tube cycle and a narrow dimer distal shield. The fluted structure on the tube cycle is indistinct in LM.
