Broinsonia parca parca (Stradner, 1963) Bukry, 1969
Aspidolithus parcus parcus (Stradner 1963) Noël, 1969; This name is not validly published under the ICN for two reasons. First, the species was originally published in combination with the invalid genus Aspidolithus and is therefore not validly published under ICN Art. 35.1. Second, the designation of two holotypes renders the name invalid under ICN Art. 9.1.
Species of Pollicifossa having a diamond-shaped central area with a porous plate surrounded by a wide birefringent fluted tube cycle and a narrow dimer distal shield. The fluted structures are distinct on the tube cycle in LM. The number of pores per quadrant is usually two to four. The width of the central area is equal to or greater than that of pelaga.
