Coccolith with a concavo-convex proximal plate and a narrow collar surrounding a central area spanned by an axial cross that supports a distal process and lateral bars. The assignment to Cretarhabdaceae remains uncertain.
The pelaga exhibits first-order white interference colours showing inclined extinction and length-fast (-) elongation in plan view under crossed polars.
