Discolithus reticulatus Górka, 1963
Length: 8.0 - 9.0 µm
Large species of Falklandolithus are constructed of a cretarhabdid pelaga composed of inclined segments that are typically weakly clockwise-imbricated, though rarely non-imbricate, and surrounding a large central area occupied by diamond-shaped pores, the apices of which are aligned with the axis of the placolith.
The central area lacks both an axial cross and a distal process.
Optical properties consistent with those of Falklandolithus.
Falklandolithus reticulatus differs from Falklandolithus praereticulatus in being larger than 6.0 µm.
